Not so sure I'll get time to cache today. I'd really like to stick a fork in the April Fools cache today and maybe I will around dinner time. So far it has been an adventure all around. Did the 10,300 foot mountain for dinner last night. Took great photo's and grabbed some fossils.

Hit two cahces successfully yesterday. Left Hubble Cards in them. One cache had a nice three button mouse in it for grabs so I took it.
Tried to hit a cache today but was unsuccessful as I was on the wrong side of the Rio Grande River again. CLosest I got was 536 feet. I saw some really cool turtles in the river and outran a guard dog which was probably older than me.(in dog years). I needed to back track and proceed two miles further but said "heck with it" when the heat satrted. I did have water with me this time.
Anyway, tomorrow is the big day we get to take the exhibits apart for the first time. Should be fun since some folks need to catch planes and we hope there are no snags.

Found the Rio Grande cache, right where they said. It was just hidden good. Went atop Sandia Peak. 44 degrees up there.
Made radio contact with an N5YY of Albequerque.
More caching today? Probably. Did my shopping yesterday and today for accessories and tools for the displays I'm watching here.
All cool so far.

Went after the RIO GRANDE cache yesterday in 95 degree weather with two coworkers. Other than almost killing us all from the heat and the altitude, we did not find what we were looking for. I'll be adding more info in the cahe page for this NEW MEXICO located cache becasue I plan on finding it today!!! There are lots of dried-forest warnings etc in the area. Hopefully I won't get in any trouble going past the signs.
On the radio? I can hear plenty but no contacts yet. These guys are quick on the key to break in a conversation around these parts.
Will keep trying on everything.
P.S. The task I'm preforming for work here went extremely long due t the complexity of the exhibit I was putting up.
